Venetian Las Vegas Parking Fees & Directions 2024

Venetian Las Vegas was one of only a handful of places in the entire Vegas Strip that still offered free parking. Sadly, that ended on August 29, 2023, when they introduced paid self-parking, permanently ending the hotel’s decades of free parking perks.

The Venetian follows suit after many resorts on the Strip decided to get rid of the free parking privileges years ago. Despite the move, a few other places still offer free parking, including Trump International, Treasure Island, Sahara Las Vegas, and Circus Circus.

Registered hotel guests will now pay an $18/day flat-daily self-parking fee at the Venetian. This pricing scheme is similar to other Strip hotels like Horseshoe, Paris, and Caesar’s Palace, which charge $20 – $25 per day for self-parking.

This article will take you through all you need to know about parking at Venetian Las Vegas. Read on to see the valet and self-parking services they offer and how to quickly get to the premises from various locations in Las Vegas.

The 14-story parking garage at the Venetian helps accommodate its huge surge of visitors throughout the year.

If you are coming from the Harry Reid International Airport, you will need to turn left on East Tropicana Road and take a right to Koval Lane to get to the hotel.

Once on Koval Lane, proceed to take a left on East Flamingo Road and then another right onto Las Vegas Boulevard. You will then see the main entrance on the right.

The Venetian Las Vegas has two parking garages designated for the Venetian and Palazzo, i.e., the Venetian Parking garage and the Palazzo parking garage. The Venetian Parking Garage is situated right behind the Venetian hotel & casino.

Access to the Venetian Parking lot is easy from the Las Vegas Boulevard and the Koval Lane Entrances.

The Koval entrance is located by the Venetian/Harrah’s shared access road. Valet parking at the Venetian is easy to locate and readily accessible from the front of the Venetian hotel. You can also access the Venetian valet parking garage by going to the 3rd level of the garage while following the valet signs.

The Palazzo parking garage, on the other hand, can be easily accessed on Las Vegas Boulevard from Sands Avenue. When heading East past the Las Vegas Boulevard, use Sands Avenue to turn to your right when you get to the first traffic light.

It is important to remember that vehicles parked at the Palazzo valet are dropped off at the upper level of the Porte Cochere. You can only pick up these vehicles at the lower level of the Porte Cochere.

Space is available for oversized vehicles, but the parking is subject to availability. Ensure to contact the management to check for availability. Oversized vehicle height restrictions are between 6 feet 8 inches and 8 feet 3 inches. There are no hookups for RVs at the oversized parking space.

Other locations that you need to keep in mind when it comes to transportation at the Venetian are the Uber/Lyft pick-up locations. The Venetian offers these pick-up locations from the Venetian and also the Palazzo. The pick-up location at the Venetian is on the 3rd level of Mall Valet. Drop-off locations at the Venetian are at the main entrance.

The Parking Garage At Venetian Las Vegas

The Venetian 14-story parking garage is also used for parking by guests at the Grand Canal Shoppes.

There is a specific motorcycle parking area that is located near the entrance on the 1st level. This is similar to the sister parking garage at the Palazzo that has designated parking spots, too.

Moreover, there are a total of 13 charging stations for electric vehicles at the Venetian Hotel & Casino. The valet section has 3 GE charging stations, and the 6th-floor has 4 GE charging stations plus one Tesla station.

Other electric vehicle areas are located in the Palazzo. The Palazzo valet has a designated area where there are 3 Tesla stations and 2 GE charging areas.

The Palazzo parking garages have one charging area at level P2, next to the Employment Center, and another at level P4 with 3 GE charging stations.

It is important to note that the maximum height of the Venetian parking garage is 6 feet and 8 inches. However, there is select oversized vehicle parking that allows vehicles of up to 8 feet and 3 inches.

Another important thing to remember is that the parking area on the 5th level of the garage is designated for poker players only – located on the right-hand corner on your drive up the levels.

The Venetian Parking Fees

The Venetian announced in July 2023 that they would be doing away with free self-parking ‘later in the 2023 summer’. This came to pass on August 29, 2023, when they introduced paid parking to their non-registered hotel guests.

Sooner or later, the Vegas Strip may be completely devoid of any free self-parking facilities.

Self-Parking Fees at the Venetian

For non-registered hotel guests (visitors), self-parking at the Venetian Las Vegas starts at $15 for the first 0 – 4 hours.

On weekdays, visitors pay $15 for the first 0-4 hours and $18 for the following 4-24 hours. On the weekend, the visitors pay a daily flat fee of $23. On weekends, visitors pay a flat daily fee of $23.

Registered hotel guests, on the other hand, pay $18 per day regardless of the day of the week.

The first hour is not complimentary (as you would often expect) for either guests or non-guests. Only Nevada residents with valid NV driver’s licenses get free hours of self-parking – they receive three hours of complimentary self-parking by scanning their ID at the self-parking kiosk.

Free self-parking is fully available for Grazie Rewards Premier members and above.

You will have the parking fees charged to your room if you are a guest. This is convenient as you will get to deal with all the payments on your room bill alone. Another great perk for guests is that they can use their room key to gain access to other Caesars self-parking garages around the city.

Visitors, on the other hand, get a ticket once they get to the parking garage. The ticket is then taken to a kiosk for payment before the visitors enter their vehicles and leave the facility. It would be best if you keep your ticket since the charges will be higher.

3. Why did Venetian end free parking?

There are many reasons why the Venetian Resort may have decided to charge for parking. However, many have concluded that The Sphere was the primary cause due to how close The Sphere’s launch date was to Venetian’s start date for paid parking.

The MSG Sphere Las Vegas, is a massive $2.2 billion project set to launch at the end of September 2023 on 225 Sands Avenue, a third of a mile from Venetian Las Vegas. The Sphere doesn’t have dedicated parking, and so it must rely on nearby parking garages, including the Venetian, Palazzo.

This is why the Venetian opted to discontinue free parking on Aug. 29, 2023. It is in preparation for the Sphere’s launch, and since Venetian has already made the jump, the Wynn & Encore follow suit.
